President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka posed for a photo with the ministers and officials equivalent to ministers of the Merah Putih Cabinet at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday, October 21, 2024.
Kisah Berita 1001 - President Prabowo Subianto has officially appointed a total of 136 state officials to hold positions as ministers, deputy ministers, heads of agencies, and special presidential envoys in the Merah Putih Cabinet.

The inauguration took place on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta. The ministerial appointments were scheduled for 10:00 AM, followed by the appointment of deputy ministers later in the afternoon.

Among those appointed, there are 48 ministers (7 coordinating ministers and 41 technical ministers) and 5 heads of agencies. Additionally, 56 deputy ministers were appointed, along with one chairman of the council.

In addition to appointing ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of agencies, Prabowo also appointed the Chief Justice, special presidential envoys, and presidential special staff on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. A total of 26 individuals were appointed on that day.

Prabowo has appointed 136 individuals to assist in his government alongside Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The Merah Putih Cabinet personnel endorsed by Prabowo-Gibran come from various backgrounds, including former ministers from President Joko Widodo's administration, such as Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and the current Minister of Trade who now serves as Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan.

Furthermore, Prabowo has also invited several businesspeople, such as Widyanti Putri (Minister of Tourism), Dudi Purwagandhi (Minister of Transportation), and Dody Hanggodo (Minister of Public Works).

Interestingly, the 8th President of Indonesia has also called upon several artists and public figures for ministerial positions. Names like Raffi Ahmad, Yovie Widianto, Giring Ganesha, and Gus Miftah were seen at his residence in Kertanegara recently. This raised speculation about who among them would be part of the Merah Putih Cabinet. Currently, only a few artists and public figures have officially joined the government, with Giring Ganesha, former vocalist of Nidji, announced as Deputy Minister of Culture.

On the other hand, Raffi Ahmad and Yovie Widianto have been assigned special tasks during the Prabowo-Gibran administration in the creative industry sector.
